Job Description:
A company is looking for a Billing Insurance Clerk to join their
accounting and revenue cycle management team.
Key Responsibilities
Submit claims to health insurance payers and monitor their
statuses
Review denied claims and take appropriate actions, including
corrections and appeals
Determine clients' health insurance financial responsibility and
bill accordingly
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience with insurance companies, claims, and
healthcare billing
Experience working with large national payers such as Cigna, United
Healthcare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield
Familiarity with Candid Health RCM platform is preferred
Ability to work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and
support teams
Capable of operating in a fast-paced, remote, startup
environment
