  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - L&DShift:--Nights / 7p-7a, 11.5x3, 34.5hrs per weekLength:--13 weeksWeekend Requirement Every 3rd weekend for days, 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week period; night shift weekend are Friday and Saturday in this unitHolidays Travelers do not work holidaysRequirements:
  • NY RN License
  • 2 years experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • AWONNOther details:
    • # beds 14, 5 beds are used as triage/inpatient beds, 6 labor beds, 2 OR beds
    • Charting System: Epic
    • EMR Meditech and GE (chart in two systems)
    • Floating Will task in OB or nursery but don't take patients
    • Common diagnosis / Types of patients C-sections are completed on the unit, nurses are expected to scrub, high risk ob patients, low risk antepartum goes to the OB side (not L&D side), mag patients go to L&D; must have high risk experience and be strong nurse ok w/ fast pace
