Our innovative clinical laboratories provide sophisticated technology and automated equipment that allow our teams to get to answers faster and more efficiently, with a strong emphasis on applied and translational research. MSK is also dedicated to providing diverse educational opportunities to develop further the skills and ambitions of our medical technologists and technicians, laboratory managers, and laboratory directors. Our experts also play a vital role in clinical research through contributions we make to the development of new laboratory tests and diagnostic platforms! We are currently seeking a part-time Laboratory Technologist III to join MSK Nassau Clinical Laboratories.

Assist with instrument maintenance and quality control procedures.
Operate equipment carefully and according to procedures; Help maintain commonly used equipment and resolve minor equipment problems.
Assure equipment and instruments meet performance standards.
Assure the accuracy of all tests performed by adhering to the laboratory's Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures.
Monitors staff activities to assure accurate, thorough completion of work; Updates procedures when appropriate and assists in writing new technical procedures. Compiles data and writes validation, as required.--
Bachelor's degree (Medical Technology, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences) required
-Monday and Wedesday, noon to 8 with rotating Saturday.
