Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.This position will work 2nd shift: 6am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday.The Equipment Cleaner is responsible for cleaning production equipment and associated general work areas safely and thoroughly. They're also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effectto ensurethe quality and quantity of products produced.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Cleans, washes, sanitizes, stores and organizes equipment to include but not limited to machines, conveyors, hoppers, carts,vessels, filters, utensils, processing equipment, changeparts and facilities components* Ensures that residual material is removed, equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized for use and that any wear is repaired or reported so it can be repaired* Rinses, washes equipment thoroughly to remove soap residue and sanitizesas required by SOP* Stores clean equipment in a manner that prevents contamination* Labels cleaned equipment with identification that indicates the equipment is clean and the expiration of the clean status
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred* Military experience a plus* Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment
EXPERIENCE:* Prior manufacturing experience preferred
SKILLS:* Ability to write simple correspondence* Basic mathematical skills* Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructionsThe approximate hourly pay for this position is $19.10-$21.68*.Please note that thepayrangeprovidedis a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
