The primary role of the Dosimetrist will be to support the development and validation of AI-driven contouring solutions for radiation therapy treatment planning. This position will play a crucial role in collaborating with both technical and clinical teams to ensure the accurate and efficient delivery of radiation treatment. -What are my responsibilities?--- - - - - - - - - Work closely with AI developers, medical physicists, and radiation oncologists to define requirements for AI-based contouring solutions. Provide clinical expertise to guide the development of contouring algorithms and workflows. - - - - - - - - Oversee the clinical validation and quality assurance (QA) of AI-based contouring tools, ensuring that they meet established standards and clinical efficacy. Collaborate on test protocols and analyze performance metrics. - - - - - - - - Lead the integration of AI-driven contouring solutions into clinical workflows. Develop training protocols and assist the dosimetry team in the adoption of automated tools to ensure seamless implementation. - - - - - - - - Engage in ongoing research related to AI applications in radiation therapy, including identifying opportunities for improving contouring accuracy, efficiency, and patient safety. -What do I need to qualify for this job?--- - - - - - - - - Education: Bachelor's degree in B.S. in physics or closely related physical or engineering science. Certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board. - - - - - - - - Experience: Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as a dosimetrist. - - - - - - - - - Technical Skills: Proficiency in treatment planning systems (TPS) and experience with auto-contouring software solutions.
